Dress + Dine: Wallflower

With the amount of times we eat out, not only here in New York, but also on our travels throughout the world, and the amount of photos we usually take while doing said eating out, it only seemed logical to make all that effort worthwhile. So this year, one of the things we will be expanding is the Dress & Dine series to include Dress & Dine: Restaurant Edition. Just as the name implies, we will be dressing (aka showing you what to wear) and dining (aka showing you what to order at what restaurants) at some of our favorite spots. Also, if you'd like to know what to wear to a certain restaurant/have recommendations, let us know and we will do our best to incorporate it into a feature. And don't worry, OG D&D won't be going anywhere, but why limit the dressing & dining to just eating in when eat out is just as fun?! Now, without further ado, the first Dress & Dine: Restaurant Edition...
With a city full of literally hundreds of delicious food options, it's rare that I'll make it to the same place multiple times. Wallflower, however, I've now been to three times. If that doesn't tell you it's good I don't know what will. Maybe the drool-worthy pictures?!
On my last visit to this charming West Village spot, I brought along Mr. RC as my photographer, er date, to check out a few of their new brunch menu items. Per usual, they did not disappoint. The service was friendly, the food divine and the cocktails, oh man the cocktails. They may just be some of the greatest concoctions this side of the Mississippi. Do yourself a favor and add Wallflower to your must eat brunch spots asap!
As for figuring out the dressing portion of dressing & dining at Wallflower, I thought of what came to mind when I pondered over the spot's decor. Pair that with the fact that you don't want to be too overdone for brunch and I landed on something I like to call "polished casual". It's perfect for casually polishing off a polished casual brunch (Too much?! I couldn't help myself!).
