Sweater + Slip Dress Outfit for New Year's Eve
I’m not really much of a NYE person.
Come to think of it, I never really have been. To me, it’s always been an over-hyped, unnecessarily expensive evening full of unrealistically high expectations. I’d much prefer to spend the night in, with good food, a bottle of bubbly, a few board games, good tunes and some close friends. But, that doesn’t mean, I don’t still like to get (semi) dressed up. Things like this sweater + slip dress outfit are the exact formula I like to follow when it comes to outfits for New Year’s Eve. There’s enough glam with the slip dress, sparkly bag and fun earrings to make it appropriate for NYE, while the oversized sweater makes it cozy and comfortable enough to help me tolerate the whole getup until the clock strikes 12.
Since I’m not really a NYE gal, I usually don’t know what our plans are until a day or two before, which, consequently means, I never have much time to get an outfit together.
