Happy Hour No. 166
A MID-WEEK PICK-ME-UP OF FAVORITE PHOTOS, LINKS AND THINGS
// SIMPLY TWISTED
2
Botanics recently released their Simply Calm line, so they sent over the serum, cream + overnight mask, which I’ve been testing out since it arrived. It’s my first time using skincare products with CBD {So far, I love how relaxed they make me!}, and also my first time using Botanics products {So far, I love how affordable and accessible the line is, but the fact that everything still comes in responsible packaging and glass jars!}.
I was also recently sent this necklace, along with a few other pretty pieces, from Missoma’s new Twisted collection, which I can’t wait to style and wear!
// THRIFT FINDS

Another thing I snagged at the thrift store this past weekend is this beautifully carved wooden vase. I’m not quite sure where we’ll be putting it, but I just loved the textural details too much not not take it home with me.
// Scalloped details
6
I’m low-key obsessed with these heels that I found while thrifting this past weekend. While I normally avoid buying shoes at thrift stores, these had never been worn, are made in Italy, and I mean, do you see that dainty scalloped edge detail?! How could I say no to these beauties??!
// stock flowers

The Mr. surprised me with these flowers last week and they’ve been going strong since. Always love how simple, yet chic, stock looks! Did I mention that it also last forever {This one is from a week ago and still looks this good!} and it’s really affordable, especially at Trader Joe’s? Oh, and it also smells amazing! In other words, if you need a quick flower pick-me-up, grab yourself some stock!
// MATCHbooks
3
One of my favorite things to collect, especially while traveling, is matchbooks. Luckily, Austin did not disappoint in the matchbook department. I came home with at least 10 new ones for my collection, and couldn’t be happier about it!
// SOUVENIRS
5
Speaking of souvenirs, a few more things I brought back from Texas include this sandstone vase and earrings, both purchased at the Houston coffee shop that gives back, and a perfume purchased from this store {but funnily enough is actually made in California}.
