Beach Stripes

While I'd classify this striped dress as being more appropriate for the Hamptons, New England or Southern France, I couldn't help throwing it in my bag for Mexico because of how comfortable and versatile it is. I'm sure glad I packed it because out of the 15 shirts, 6 swimsuits, 5 dresses and 4 pairs of shorts (and a partridge in a pear tree!) that I packed, this dress is the one item that got the most wear. I threw  it on most mornings to head down to breakfast, then again as a swim cover-up for the pool and, on our last day, I wore it for one final good-bye stroll down the beach. See what I mean? Totally versatile. But then again, when are stripes not?!
