Picnic in the Park

As Iโm sure you are aware by now, there are several things that I cannot live without during the summer month: striped clothing, the beach, ice cream, sunnies, my favorite straw hat, picnics and spending some quality time with something dear to my heart, er I mean taste buds. Any ideas what Iโm referring to? If you guessed lobster, then you guessed correctly. I mean, Iโm a born New Englander, what do you expect? Itโs basically in my DNA that lobster is synonymous with summer and summer is synonymous with lobster.
Living in NYC, there are, of course, plenty of places to find amazing lobster dishes. However, when it comes to the food options here (lobster or otherwise), there is always a feeling of sensory overload on what delicious thing to choose and how to enjoy them in a summer friendly environment. But tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29th, Seamless is going to make it really easy for you. From 12:00pm-2:30pm, they are partnering with one of my city favorites, Lukeโs Lobster, to bring summer picnics right to Manhattanites doors, no prep work or picnic basket needed. For only $12 (yes, really) youโll get a delicious lobster roll, bean salad, a bag of chips, a pickle, a bottle of water, a checkered picnic napkin, Seamless sunnies, and, for in park pick-ups, a Seamless picnic blanket. And in case you missed the part where I told you that it was basically the same price as your morning cup of coffee, a Seamless Picnic Day basket will cost you a mere $12. Allโs you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your summertime picnic experience. In other words, this is how picnicking should be done...
If you want to get in on the picnic day fun, youโll be able to pick-up a basket at Flatiron Plaza and Columbus Circle, or, you can order one for delivery to your home or office, in Midtown East, Midtown West, East Village and the Financial District.
