Out of all the Cabo photos I posted,

one of the questions I got the most was about my round straw bag. I mean, I get it. Why do you think I bounded across a flea market to grab it before anyone else could? And why do you think when the lady told me it was only $7 I couldn't get my money out fast enough? It's just such a unique statement piece. In fact, unique items are one of the biggest reasons that I'm such a fan of buying things at flea markets and consignment shops. I learned early on, from one of the best (Hi, Mom!), that it's a surefire way to get interesting pieces, full of character, details and life, that you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else, or on anyone else. In other words, you won't be finding "that Zara jacket that every blogger and her mom has" by shopping this way. You'll truly be finding one-of-a-kind treasures.

Of course, the only problem with this is that when someone asks where you bought something, or wants to know where they can get an item like the one you have, you then have to be that girl, you know, the one being like "Oh, this thing? It's vintage!" or "Oh you know, I just grabbed it at some little flea market in the South of France!". So, after having to be that girl one too many times in response to Instagram comments, I knew a post rounding up the best round straw bags for the season was in order. While I can't promise anything quite as unique as the one I picked up at the flea market in Santa Monica, I can guarantee bags at every price point, style and color. Keep scrolling to see all my selects, broken down into bags under $100, under $200, and over $200.

For truly unique straw bags, I'd recommend scoping out flea markets, garage sales and thrift shops in your local area. Also, check out places like eBay and Etsy (This round straw bag is very similar to the one I have.).

Now, for the real question- who else hoards straw bags, and just can't seem to stop buying them (because they're all JUST so unique and pretty!!)? I may or may not be guilty of this....
